Consultancy Supervision is support to help you deal with difficult people, especially people you encounter through work. People who we find difficult to deal with can cause us stress and lead to us being ineffective at work.
Working with a qualified clinical supervisor through Consultancy Supervision can help us to (1) gain more insight into the person(s) we are finding difficult and (2) help us to be more effective at dealing with them.

Learning to deal effectively with people we find difficult can help reduce our stress levels, lead to improved communication (both ways) and lead to greater insight into ourselves and others.

This type of support is appropriate for those who manage large numbers of people at work (e.g. executive management) and/or those who encounter difficult patients, customers or clients, perhaps through work in healthcare (GP, psychiatry, nursing, allied health professionals), social work, work with offenders (courts, prisons, probation) or education (Heads, teachers). Dr Tony Weston’s award winning research included clients engaged in these types of occupations.

(This type of work can also lead to improved relationships with your child, or your partner.)

As a qualified clinical supervisor Dr Tony Weston enjoys working in a Consultancy Supervision role to help clients who want to work more effectively with a difficult person or persons.
